CONTAINER EXPLODES.
When a mixture of lynzine and tar which he was preparing in a large container exploded yesterday afternoon, an employee of the Auckland Harbour Board, Mr. John Horace Stedman, of Dock Street, Freeman's Bay, suffered severe burns to the arm«, face and head. He was taken by St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital, but his condition is not serious.
