BRITAIN'S HOPE.
SETTLEMENT OF CZECH ISSUE.
British Official Wireless. RUGBY, June Iβ. Mr. Chamberlain was asked in the House of Commons if the British Government would make it clear that it did not entertain frontier revision as a possible contribution to the solution of the problem of the minorities in Czechoslovakia. He said: "His Majesty's Government is not prepared to lay down conditions which would in its opinion be appropriate to the solution of the problem of the minorities in Czechoslovakia. This matter is now being discussed between the Government of Czechoslovakia and the Sudetens, and the British Government sincerely hopes these discussions will result in an agreed settlement."
