Appointment of Wholetime Chairman. DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF BBC. (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 14. Sir Kingsley Wood, Secretary for Air, informed the House of Commons that Sir John Reith had been invited to become wholetime chairman of Imperial Airways. Sir John had accepted.
