To many women it was very gratifying to find so many of their sex included in this year's birthday honours list. Interviews with several of those honoured are to be found in the current issue. This week there is introduced the newfeature, "Heart-to-Heart Talks," by Kathleen Norris, the well-known novelist and writer on human problems, who discusses problems that are likely to crop up in the lives of everybody. The short stories are: '"Beauteous Lady." '"Dress Rehearsal" and "Stories of Victoria Row," and all of these will be fouijd interesting. On the film pages is another article, "Secrets of the Stars," by a prominent director, and a description of a visit to New Zealand's quadruplets. Directions are given for the knitting of a man's tennis pullover and a suit for the little lad. Then there are seven free patterns to choose from. A new contest is to be found on the Pixie pages. The twelfth series of letters in "Movie Mix-Up" is in this issue and the final will apjiear next week. Readers should not miss sending in their entry.
