AUSTRALIA—NEW ZEALAND, j Country Press, Limited, of Sydney, N.S.W., has just published the 1938 i edition of the "Press Directory of Australia and New Zealand." This is a well produeed and well illustrated volume containing particulars ot newspapers and periodicals throughout Australia and New Zealand. It will be of great interest to those concerned with journalism and advertising, and all those business firms dealing with national advertising campaigns. The essential facts, concerning each publication are recorded —its size, date of publication, character of coverage, etc. The work will be found useful as a source of reference of many problems arising in the planning of advertising campaigns. Included in the New Zealand section of the Directory is a foreword by the Newspaper Proprietors' Association of New Zealand (Inc.). There is also a general review of the industrial and commercial development of the Dominion, as well as of each State of Australia.
