Several days after the gruesome find in Picton Harbour, there was a sent*, tional turn of events in the my«tefr when Douglas Alexander Armstrong, % son of the murdered man, was arretted when he stepped from the Limited express at Auckland. He whs immediately charged with the murder of hie father and remanded to appear at Wellington. The arrest was made by Detective W. E. Turgiss and acting-Detective# W, £ Cromwell and E. M. Grace.
