MOST KINDLY MAN.
" A FRIEND TO AI/L." Deep regret at the death of Sir George Richardson was expressed by Mr. A. S. Richards, M.P. for at'his meeting in the Carlton Hall, Sandringham. last night, and also by the Mayor of Mount Albert, Mr.' H; A. Anderson, who" presided.
I Mr. Richards said he had been associated with Sir George in many public matters over a period of years, and had always known him to be a most kindly man interested in helping others, and a friend to all. Mr. Richards tendered heartfelt sympathy to Lady Richardson and - 'members of the family in their bereavement.
As a mark of respect the large audience stood for a minute in silence.
