PLUNKET DANCE.
NEW LYNN FUNCTION. A successful and enjoyable dance was held recently in St. Andrew's Hall by the -Sew Lynn branch of the I'liinket Societv. I'he hall was decorated with ferns arid Mowers, and pennants and Chinese lanterns in a colour scheme appropriate for the day. Mr. ( ecil represented the Mayor. Mr. Reiman. who wa.s unavoidably absent. Prizes in novel;*, dan-cs were won by Miss Ajipleyard and Mr. McKendrick, Miss M. Hammond and Mr. T. McKenzio. Supper wis daintily served by ladies <'f the c< .urn it tee. Members of committee present were: Mrs. 11. Bond dames, wearing' blue -potted crepe de chine; Mrs. A. Wilson, nil green georgette; Mr<s. Appleyard. green floral silk; Mrs. 11. Ulott. blue georgette; Mrs. Maker, blue marocain; Mr-., X. McKenzio, floral georgette: Mrs. C.
