United. —Mrs. M. W. Powley, the president, presided at the annual meeting of the I'nited Croquet Club. held in the club's pavilion. The election of officers resulted as follows: — President. Mrs. M. W. Rowley: vice-presidents. Miss A. Brown and Mrs. R. M Rride: lion, secretary. Mrs. T. A. Finch; lion, treasurer. Miss Joyce: general committee, Mrs. A. Henderson. Mrs. f!. Gibson, Mrs. A. K. Oswald. Miss L. Burton, Miss C. Wale. Miss M. Barber; match committee. Miss Brown, Mr*. Henderson, and Mrs. Mcßride: Saturdays' club captain. Mrs. W. Kirk; tea and social committees. Miss Dettc. Mrs. Leonard, Mrs. McLeay. Mrs. Heard, and Mrs. Knox; green superintendent. Mrs. Powley: lion, auditor. Mr. A. Henderson; delegates to the Auckland ( roquet Association. Mrs. powley, Mrs. Finch and Miss Brown.
Waitemata: The following officers were elected at the a>mual meeting of the Waitemata (roquet Club: —President, Mrs. X. S. Davidson: vice-presi-dents. Mesdames W. P. l'oherts and M. Mclntyre; scretary and delegate. Mrs. J. A. Kobertson: match committee. Mesdames A. J. Grant, M. Mclntyre and P. .T. Hawke.
