LECTURE ON BIOCHEMISTRY.
A lecture on biochemistry was given in the Lewis Lady Hall hist jiiglft by Sister L. Kvans, the pojmlai Australian health lecturer. In explaining her subject Sister Lviilis said that bioehemistrv was the science that sought to ascertain what salts of the blood were lacking and to find the exact form in which the deficiencies could be supplied.
" I here is nothing so much needed as Cue conservation of human health, of hitman energy and of the possibilities of life. Sister Kvans said in the course of her address, and she went on to stress tlio importance to the human race of [ill Vsica 1 well-being.
The lecture was il'ustratcd by interesting lantern slides which aided in bringing to the notice of the audience the main features of Sister Evans' address. Another similar lecture will be irivon to-night.
