GIFT AFTERNOON
SOCIETY OF ST. GEORGE
The monthly meeting of the ladies of the Royal Society of St. George was held yesterday in the Penwomen's Clubrooms, and took the form of a gift afternoon for the inmates of the Mental Hospital.
Mrs. W. H. Barkes. 0.8.E.. who gave an entertaining lecture on China and Japan, was presented with a shoulder spray in the society's colours by the chairman, Mrs. P. Heath Preest.
