A total of 102 State housing contracts which have been approved by Cabinet were announced to-(hy bv the Parliamentary I"ruler-Secretary : n Charge of Housing, Mr. J. A. Lee. In tile Auckland district contracts have been let for four houses at Westmere. 19 at Remuera and 10 at l'amaki. Taur antra has been allotted 11 houses. In the W cllington area the contracts include 17 houses at Karori. seren at Lower Hutt and four at Otaki. For Hastings, contracts for 11 houses have been approved. At Boon's Estate, Christ■hurch, 41 dwellings will be erected, at Dallington 30 and at Spreydon three, (•reymoutli is to have five houses.
