CHALLENGE TO PEARCE. TRAINED BY HIS FATHER. The world's sculling championship of 1022 when dim Paddon won the title from l)arev Hadlield on the Wanaantii River, is recalled by the arrival in Auckland this morning of Paddon with hison Evans, who 13 a contender for the world's championship to be held at Toronto, l anada, in .September next.
