NIAGARA ARRIVES. AWATEA AND MARIPOSA LATE. LLANGOLLEN PUTS BACK. MAETSUYCKER IX THE MORNING. The Canadian Australasian Royal Mail steamer Niagara arrived at 7 a.m. today from Sydney, -with 200 passengers,, berthing at Prince's wharf. She experienced very rough weather, but being from the west it. did not delay her arrival. The vessel sails at 11 a.m. to-morrow for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria. 8.C., and Vancouver. The strong westerly, gale has delayed the arrival at Sydney of the Awatea, which left Auckland at 5.25 p.m. on.Friday. She is expected late this afternoon. The same weather delayed the Mariposa, which left Auckland at 11 p.m. on Friday. She is due at Svdncy this evening. The Wanganella, which left Wellington at 7.50 p.m. last Thursday for Sydney, has also been delayed by* the gale. The steamer Llangollen, which left. Auckland at 0.35 a.m. on Friday for Port Kenibla, New South Wales, met the full force of the gale "between North . Cape and Cape Maria. Being in light trim, she returned to port, arriving last night. After rebunkering, she is expected to sail again to-night." The South Seas Line motor ship Maetsuycker will arrive at 7 a.m. | to-morrow from Saigon* and other Eastern ports. She lias 2fi passengers and general cargo and will berth at Queen's wliarf and is expected to leave j for Wellington to-morrow night.

Port Hardy will arrive from Liverpool on 'Wednesday morning with general cargo for main ports. (F. Co-op.) Surrey, whieli left Auckland early on Saturday morning for Opua, left IJicrc at 7 a.m. to-day for New Plymouth. (N.Z.S. Co.) Remuera, which lias been discharging London cargo at the Prince's wharf, will leavo for Wellington at midnight to-night. (X.Z.S. Co.) Tekoa is now expected, to arrive on Thursday from Wellington to complete loading for London. (X.Z.S. Akaroa will not arrive until midnight on Thursday from London, with passengers and cargo. (L.D.X.) 1 Port Waikato is due this evening from Lyttclton. Port Tauranga is expectcd to complete discharge of Auckland cargo from Colt's Harbour, Xew South Wales* and leave to-night for Opua (X.S.S. Co.)
