CHILLED BEEF JUDGING.
MATAMATA SHOW ENTRIES. (From Our Own Correspondent.) MATAMATA, Friday. Mr. B. C. Taylor, secretary of Matamata A. and. P.. Association, lias received advice that tlie carcases of the cattle entered in the chilled beef class at the llatamata Show have been judged at Smithfield, London, with the following result:—Brocklesby Brothers 1 and 2, J. Polilen' 3.
The placing of the live cattle in the chilled beef class at the Matamata Show, among which the above London winners appeared were:—J. Polilen 1, W. McLean 2, R. C. Morgan 3. When the animals were killed at Westfield the placings were:—R. C. Morgan 1 and 2, Brocklesby Brothers 3. "
