They declare that the team missed golden opportunities, chiefly in the first half, through failure to gather the ball. It was tragedy for the visitors when Kay retired injured. Only the New South Wales advantage in weight and rough tactics in the last few minutes, in which P<2arce was the chief offender, enabled the home side to triumph. Football fans are delighted with the Kiwis. They describe them as the cleanest team seen for years. The New Zealand team to meet New South Wales to-morrow (three to be omitted): Smith, Hem:, Brown, Chase, McNeil, Tittlcton, Brimblc (2). Grotto, Tetley, Anderson. McLeod, Bredriek, Cootes, Orman, McNcight. Kay; underwent an X-ray examination and was found to have dislocated, a shoulder. He will be unable to play for a fortnight. . A GREAT RECORD.
