McClellan lost to W. M. Kerns and H. Henderson. AKARANA CLUB. The second round or the handicap match play competition for the Coltman Cup was played by members of the Akarana Golf ; Club. Chief interest centred in the meeting of L. J. Bryant and V. Salek, who both performed so creditably in the recent winter championship. There was little between the pair to the turn, Bryant gaining the lead at the thirteenth, but Salek iu holing an approach at the fifteenth squared the match. A sound 3 at the sixteenth placed Salek 1 up, but Bryant finished brilliantly in two fours to take the match. Results are as follow: C. A. Best (13), beat F. S. Taylor (13), 1 up; H.
