FANCY DRESS PARTY.
j FUNCTION AT OTAHUHU. Held in the Methodist Memorial Hall at Otahuhu on Saturday afternoon a children's fancy dress party controlled by the senior ladies' Bible class members proved to be a most successful function, and the support given by parents of'the Sunday school pupila should greatly assist the church gift card fund. Many original and attractive costumes gave the judges, Mesdames Shepherd, Hampton and Word, a very arduous task in awarding the prizes, the principal winners being:—Girls under five years. Jeanette Trenwith 1, Myfwanny Davies 2; special, Dawn Sturge. Under eight years, Ceinwin Davies 1; specials. Betty Clayton and Marion Movie. Over eight years, specials, Evelin Movie and Hazel Higginson. Boys, under five years. Britwin Davies 1, Rhys McConoeliie 2. Under eight years, Denis Taylor 1, Dene MeConochie 2. Over eight years, Johnnv Lves 1.
