GOOD SEASON.
ROTORUA TROUT FISHING. INCREASES OF LICENSES. Commenting on the trout fishing seaeon in the Rotorua district, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, said t"iat the number of licenses issued, and the revenue obtained, was increasing in a satisfaetcry manner year by year For the 1f1.17-38 season the number of licenses had. with some returns to eonie. reached a total of 12,121. and the revenue was £.">202 It was estimated that a further 800 to the number of licenses, and £400 in revenue, would be added to these figures. Mr. Parry said that for the 1935-30 fishing season, the Auckland Acclimatisation Society would have a license fee of £1 10/ for the full season, with an increase in other fishing license fees.
