CRASHED INTO TRUCK.
FOUR PASSENGERS HURT.

While travelling to Pahiatua last night a sedan oar owned by Mr. Dave Mabey, and driven by his son, Mr. Dave Malicy. junior, crashed into a stationary truck parked on the roadside a few miles south of Ui e town. It is stated that a car was iipproac-hilig from the opposite direction, and Mr. Mabey said he was blinded by its lights and did not see the truck until almost on top of it. He made a vain effort to avoid the truck.
Four travelling in the car received extensive cuts, one small boy having some 20 stitches in his head and face Another was knocked unconscious but later recovered. After receiving medical attention the passengers were able to "o home. This makes the fourth accident within four days in the Pahiatua district.
