Former Russian Diplomats
For Trial.
CONSPIRING AGAINST SOVIET
(Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Juno 10. The "Daily Telegraph" Oslo correspondent eays that nine more former diplomats will shortly be tried on charges of Trotskyism, sabotage and conspiracy against the Soviet Government and relations with Fascist circles abroad, according to the newspaper "Afterpost." They include Jakubovitch, Colonel Vaheiliefl, ex-military attache in London, Colonel Smirnoff, ex-military attache in Paris, Yurenieff, ex-Ambas-sador in Berlin and Tokyo, and Colonel Jakoleff, ex-attacho in Berlin. After Jakubovitch'e return to Moscow his sons were freed, but soon afterward* Jakubovitch was arrested on a charge of associating with Trotsky when the latter was taking refuge in Norway. Butenko, who, it is stated, ie still hiding in Italy, ie reported to have been condemned to death in his absence.
