Fracture of an ankle was suffered by Mr. John A. Alison, a builder, aged 47, of Eastcliff Road, Castor Bay, when he was knocked down by a motor car in Tiri Road, last evening. After being attended by Dr. P. Andrews, of Milford, the injnred man was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition to-day was not serious.
