(Received n a.m.) LONDON, June 1. Gold is quoted at £7 0/7% per ounce. The American dollar is quoted at 4.94% to the pound sterling, and the French franc at 178%. The following is a summary of the fluctuation in the price per ounce of fine gold this year:—
