WORKMAN INJURED.

KNOCKED DOWN BY CAB. Suffering from concussion, facial abrasions and shock, Mr. H. McGrath, aged 36, of 11, Oxton Road, Sandringham, was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance shortly before 8 o'clock this morning. Mr. McGrath, who is employed by the Auckland Transport Board, was working on the tram tracks on Mount Eden Road, near Valley Road, when he was knocked down by a motor car going towards the city. His condition is not serious.
