TRAPPED BY FIRE.
Anti-Japanese Feeling In Vancouver. SHOCKING OUTRAGE. (Received 2 p.m.) VANCOUVER. May 31. Anti-Japanese sentiment is suspected for the death of three Japanese boys trapped by fire in a tenement which was | totally destroyed. Investigation after the fire revealed that water connections were severed prior to the blaze. A white man was seen fleeing from the basement previously. Twenty occupants escaped, a woman breaking her back in a leap from an upper window.
