I'pon all lands and ' dwelling houses to which J water is supplied but no meter has been installed for the measurement of the quantity used, where the annual value does not exceed £12 10/, a rate of 10/ : where the annual value exceeds £12 10/, a rate of 5 per cent of such annual value. 3. EXTRAORDINARY SUI'I'I.Y. An extra charge of ">/ for each hath in use on such premises and 15/ for each water closet in use 011 such premises. 4 N ON-CON S I'M ERS' RATE. For the year commencing on Ist October. 10H7, ard ending on :!oth September, 11138. in respect of the ordinary supply to buildings other than dwelling houses, and in respect of lands and buildings to which water can be hut is not supplied, situate within one hundred yards from any part of the waterworks, one-half of the above water rate. 5. WATER r.Y METER. Upon all lands and.buildings to which water is sup- " plied by meter for ordinary supply, a rate equivalent to 1/0 (one shilling and nine pence) per thousand gallons used, but such rate to he not less than £1 X/ per annum, sucli minimum rate of £1 8/ to be paid in advance and the balance of such rate at the time the meter is read, to the Collector appointed by the Council at the Council Chambers, Valley Road, Mount Eden. All the above rates and fees, with the exception of the water by meter rate, shall be payable in one sum on the loth July, 1038, to the Collector appointed by the Mount Eden Borough Council at the Council Chambers, Valley Road, Mount Eden. If any of the above rates remain unpaid at the expiration of six months and fourteen days from the demand thereof, an additional charge of ten per centum will be added thereto. The annual Estimates of Expenditure upon which the rates above-mentioned are j being struck, having been approved by the Council, are. together with the Valuation Roll of the Borough, open for inspection at the Town Clerk's Office during office hours.
