CHATTELS TRANSFER ACT.
AUCKLAND REPRESENTATIONS. . Representations from the Auckland Chamber of Commerce that electric vacuum cleaners, electric refrigerators, radio sets and bicycles should be added to the seventh schedule of the Chattels Transfer Act were discussed at the recent meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Associated Chambers of Commerce in Wellington. It was decided that, in view of possible alterations to the system of hire purchase, that a special committee should be set up to consider anj- further changes.
