RAILWAY CHANGES.
STORES COMPTROLLER. RETIREMENT ANNOUNCED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Mr. S. S. Millington, comptroller of stores in the Railways Department, has retired on superannuation, and is succeeded by Mr. P. M. Muir, who has been assistant comptroller for the past five years. In making this announcement, the Minister of Railways, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, extended the thanks of the Government and himself as Minister for the excellent work of Mr. Millington as comptroller, and also for his good work as chairman of the advisory committee to the Stores Control Board*.
