GAMING ACT OFFENCES. I (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Pleading guilty before Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., in the Police Court to-day to using premises a« a common gaming house, George Davia, aged 40, salesman, was fined £.">O. Leonard Percival Duncan, for assisting, was fined £15, and John Kennedy Crowley, for assisting, was fined £7 10/. Two other persons found on the premises were fined £2 each. BUILDING AT NAPIER. PROGRESS SINCE 'QUAKE. t (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, Monday. The total value of the buildings ejected in Napier from February 3, 1031, the date of the earthquake, to March 31 last, is £1,28G,G51, according to the annual report presented at to-night's meeting of the Napier Borough Council.
•The many new Government building 3 are not included in this total.
