POWER BOARD LOAN.
i . (From Our Correspondent.) KAIKOHE, Friday. A meeting of the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board was held in Kaikohe to-day, when Mr. A. E. Bisset was elected chairman. The board, which has had its loan proposal of £200,000 endorsed by the ratepayers, decided to make amplication to financial institutions for the money and construction work will commence soon after the first instalment of the loan is to hand. The engineer hope* to complete the work within two and a half years. The scheme provides for the reticulation of tlie Bay of Islands and Mangonni counties and the Kaikohe and Kaitaia town districts.
