After hearing evidence at an inquest into the deatli at Herekino on May 15 of Para Rawa Murray, a Maori, "aged 13, the coroner, Mr. L.*A. Evidence was given by Walter Valentine Lunjevich, farmer, and three boys, who stated that the accident had occurred while the party was pheasant - shooting. Para had got in the line of fire of Lunjevich, who did not see him when taking a snap shot at a rising bird. A verdict that death was due to gunshot wounds received accidentally was returned.
