(Beceived 11 n.m.) LONDON, May 23. In the House of Commons Miss Eleanor Rathbone (Ind., Combined Universities), asked Mr. Chamberlain to consider convening a conference of representatives of the Dominions for the purpose of formulating an Imperial policy regarding political ■refugees.
Mr. Chamberlain replied that the admission of refugees was a matter for each Government to decide in the light of local conditions. An opportunity for discussing some aspects of the subject will be afforded at the inter-Governmental meeting in July, to which, he understood, the Governments of the Dominions had been invited.
