CARPENTER INJURED.
(From Our Correspondent.) WAlfil, Sunday. While working on the new Academy Theatre in Rosemont Road, Waihi, on Saturday afternoon the foreman carpenter, Mr. C. Pegram, aged about 50, single, of 10, Runnell Street, Ponsonby, slipped and fell 15ft on to a concrete block, breaking a thigh and suffering severe facial injuries. The injured man was taken to the Waihi Hospital after being attended by Dr. F. G. Barraclough. His condition is not serious.
