NON-VOTERS.
THE APATHETIC 35 PER CENT. (To the Editor.) The record percentage of voting last Wednesday is a poor showing, for 23,617 peopVdefaulted—at all events, it io certain tV omitting the sick and invalids, most of £_/* did. The Labour «>arty, well organised as usual, probably voted to a man, and it mav be assumed that the missing 35.7 per cent favoured, in a detached and uninterested sort of way, the Citizens' "ticket." Probably the bitterest general election on record is looming up in a few months' time—will these apathetic absentees wake up? K.JL
