BRIDGE AFTERNOON.
FIRST FOR SEASON. SOCIETY OF ST. GEORGE. The first bridge afternoon for the season arranged by the ladies of the Royal Society of St. George was held yesterday afternoon in the Penwomen's Club rooms. Mrs. X. Speary was the convener, and assisting as hostesses were Mrs. P. Heath Preest, Mrs. W. J. Jones, Mrs. G. Nicholson, Mrs. S. R. Bach, Mrs. W. F. Allen. Mrs. F. E. Bell, Mrs. C. Stormont, Mrs. E. M. J. Litt, Mrs. A. Presling, Mrs. \V. Morrison, Mrs. A. H. Smith and MUs J. Nicholson. The prize winners were: Mrs. R. Marsack. Mrs. Craig, Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Quaife, and Miss P.
