TRIAL MATCH.
TEAMS FOR NEXT WEDNESDAY. Next Wednesday at Carlaw Park a trial match, in connection with tho selections of players for the Australian tour, will be played between Auckland and the Rest of the North Island. The Auckland team has been chosen by Messrs. H. Avery, H. Brisbane and A. Renwick as follows :— Full-back. —J. Smith (North Shore). Three-quarters.—C. McNeile (Mount Albert), R. Chase (Manukau), B. Riley (Ponsonby). Five-eighths.—W. Brimble (Manukau), W. Tittleton (Richmond). Half-back.—W. Brimble (Newton). Forwards.—D. Herring (Mount Albert), J. Satlierley (Richmond), A. Gault (Manukau), J. Anderson (Marist), J. Brodriok (Manukau), H. Tetley (Richmond). Reserves. —Backs : L. Scliultz (Mount Albert), T. Chase (Manukau). Forwards: W. McNeight (Newton), F. Devine (Richmond). All players must report to the secretary. Mr. I. C'ulpin, at Carlaw Park, on Saturday next. Failure of notification will be taken that players 'are not available for the Australian tour.
