While the latter has not had the reputed experience of Dean—he is making hig professional debut—he wae a good amateur with a fine record. He has had 100 fights for only 20 losses. He has beaten W. Hogg, New Zealand light-weight champion and Jamieson Belt holder, Harman and Steers, North Auckland welter and middle champions, and Teddy Estall, Auckland welter title-holder. McLaughlin has never been knocked out. The main event will see the return of Cyril " 'uto, of Australia. He will meet dairy Marshall, of Gisborne.
