CONSTABLE'S 'WINE PURCHASE Two bottles of wino purchased by a policeman from Joseph Xewnian on March 3, caused Xcwniaii to appear on summons in the I'oliee Court this inoriiinjr on a charge of sellinir li<]Hor without a license. Mr. I. J. Oohlritiiie appeared for defendant, who pleaded euilty. (Lnu<rliter.) Mr. Fox said Newnii.n had been out of employment and wn* not in good health. He had never been in any trouble before.
"This is not the ordinary cuee of *ly rrroff soiling,"' Mr. Ooklstino said, "and there is no suggestion that it was in any way a 'lnisineee.
