ASSAULT CHARGE.
MIDDLE-AGED MAN Ri,rdANl>EJ>.
This morning a middle-aged man was nrrested on a charge of indecent aseaul*.. He was brought before Mr. W. R. M<;Kean, S.M., in the auxiliary Court, when Detective-Sergeant McHugh obtained a remand by consent until May 12. Application was made by counsel for bail without, euretieo, but the magistrate fixed bail in one surety of £300. A further application wae made for an order for suppression of accused'* name. "Oh yes, in the meantime," said Mr. McKean.
