B.M.A. HEALTH POLICY.
Plans to Extend Britain's National Scheme. MILLIONS AFFECTED. (Received 12."J0 p.m.) LOXDOX, April 28. The British Medical Association's plan for a national co-ordinated health ! policy suggests extension of medical I service under the National Health Insur-juni-e to an additional IS.(Mid.O(IO or I 1'0.000.000 l,y the inclusion ~f everv ] member of every family with an income ! under £2">o a year. A further suggestion is the extension of the present system to include every J type of specialist, full dental and opthalniic services and the establish- | ment of a complete maternity service system. The scheme would apply to recipients of public assistance.
