QUEEN ELIZABETH'S MOTHER. (Received 1 p.m.) LOXDOX, April 28. The Countess of Strathmore. mother of Her M*aje»ty Queen Elizabeth, is seriously ill at her London home. 84.! Eaton Square, says the "Daily Mail." The Queen twice visited her mother yesterday. Later it was stated that the condition of the Countess, who is over 70.1 showed a slight improvement. She had travelled to London to attend to-day the wedding of Viscount Anson and Miss Anne Bowes-Lyon, a niece of the Queen. The latest bulletin states that the Countess is now progressing favourably.
