■I ■—• FRANCE AND BRITAIN. Full Agreement On All Points Discussed. MINISTERS GUESTS OF KING. $ British Official Wireless. (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, April 28. An official statement issued this evening states;—"MM. Daladier and Bonnet, the French Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, who were accompanied by M. Corbin, French Ambassador in London, met Mr Chamberlain and Viscount Halifax at No. 10, Downing Street. Full agreement was reached on all points . discussed and the meeting will be , resumed to-morrow." It is understood that included in the t subjects discussed by the statesmen of i the two countries, was the British- > Italian agreement, on the conclusion of > whidi the French Ministers eongratu--3 lated Mr. Chamberlain and Viscount Halifax, besides giving some account of , the prospects of the Franco-Italian } J conversations.
The procedure at the forthcoming t meeting of the League Council, at which 5 a clarification of the situation arising > out of the Italian conquest of Ethiopia will be considered on the British initiative, was another matter on which views were exchanged. A preliminary - discussion of the situation in Spain took r place and will be resumed to-morrow. 1 This evening the French Ministers ' were, the guests of the King and Queen ;at Windsor Castle. Viscount Halifax ; was also at Windsor. The French Prime Minister told r newspapermen before proceeding to ■ Windsor that to-day's conversation's had , been most cordial, and fG> accord had , been reached on all important points.
