On a motion, of wliieh notice had been given by the prtwidcnt, Mr. N. (J. MiLeau, the inlets of liie awocialion were amended to eliminate postal voting. The amendment, provides that no rule* shall be altered, rescinded or expunged, except by a two-thirds majurity at a geneial meeting specially called for the purpose, or at the annual general meeting. The deaths of Mr. Jack Gillett. A wellknown judjre for the Association, and Mr. •T. E. Fa Ran, who eerved ae rounds *tewardß for a lengthy period, were mentioned. Members stood in silence as a mark of reepect.
PLUTO AND CLARK.
ATTRACTIONS FOR SEASON"
To give a fillip to the boxing game for the coming *iea<ion, the Auckland Boxing Association has brought over from Aus-
tralia the welter-weight. Cyril Pluto. and the light-weight. "Snowy"' Clark. They arrived this week.
This was announced at la!*t night's meeting of the association, Mr. X. C McLean being in the chair.
Mr. McLean paid that "Snowy" Clark was really a lipht liiiht-weight. and could box feather-weight if opponents rould be found for him. It wsw thought, however, that his matches would he arranged with light-weights.
ADAMS DEFEATS JARVIS

New Zealand light-weight champion. <m points at Aehburton to-night. Adams war- more aggressive in the earlier rounrls and toward th.finish, although .Tarvis jiave an excellent exhibition in the tinal round. The pace was uui:?uiillr fast throughout.
