GOOD COMPANIONS.
SOCIAL AND DANCE,
The Good Companions held a successful dance in the Fabian Club rooms last night. The hall was decorated for the occasion with black and gold streamers, and with the many coloured frocks of the dancers, they made an effective display.
The committee responsible for the arrangements included: Mesdames Graham. Thompson. Broughtoii, Sutcliff. Fagan, Hucksheppe, and Misses -Jean Sutcliff and Mutch. During the evening musical items were given by Mrs. SlcGovern, Miss Hnsett. Mr. S. Andrews, the Musical Three and the Variety Boys. The president Mr. ('. Russell, thanked the artists for their enjoyable items.
Among the visitors present were: Mesdames McDonald, Brown, Melville, Burton. McGjiir, Wilson. GriHin, Buchanan, Dickson, Franklin, and Misses Peggy Russell and Joyce Dear.
