That the present red lights erected at the approaching ends of safety zouoa are preferable to tlie suggestion of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce ;liat red reflectors should be lilted, was the opinion expressed in a letter received from the Auckland Transport Board at a meeting of the com -ii of the chain be. to-day. The letter stated that the zones had been known to be struck by motor vehicles even in daylight. The letter was received.
