Germany Calls Up Two Austrian
Representatives.
CRAMM STILL IN CUSTODY. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON', April 27. With Baron G. * von Cralnm still under arrest, Germany has called in the Austria* Davis ' Cup* players, G. von Metaxa and Hans- Redl-, who are training in company with H. Henkel in readiness to meet Norway, says the Berlin correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph."
It was announced on March S that Baron von Cramm had been detained by the criminal police, on suspicion of moral delinquency. Earlier on that day in Berlin the official tennis board had declared Cramm was ill. He had just returned from a tour of the United States, Japan and Australia, and recently it was stated that another charge was to be preferred against Cramm (who contested the last three finals at Wimbledon), the nature of it being "unwise utterances abroad."
