ROWING.

JUBILEE CLUB. BLIND OARSMKXS REGATTA. The annual regatta of the Jubilee Rowing Club will be held next Saturday and the gala will mark- the closing of the season's activities. Included in the programme is the race for the cup presented by the Mayor. Sir Ernest Davis, This trophy is being decided upon a points basis, the member gaining the highest number becoming the holder. Tn the eliminating races that have been held every week it is interesting to note that several members have obtained an equal number of points, and keen competition is assured on Saturday when the finals are rowed.

The pair oar championship, which carries the trophy presented by Mr. D. MiPhee. president, gives promise of some excellent racing. Tn the two new pairoar boats the members will be seen to greater advantage.

The fours championship carries the cup donated by Mr. A. Doull. To compete for this trophy the members must have compiled a certain number of points in the season's racing, and with the two previous events assisting in the points aggregate members will put forward every effort to qualify for the fours championship. If weather conditions permit the Tamaki Drive course will be rowed and visitors to the waterfront will be surprised to see the progress the blind oarsmen have mad-e. The club has had its best season to date. HEAD-OF-HARBOUR RACE. FOUR COLLEGES COMPETE.
