MOTHERS' CLUB.
MEMBER FAREWELLED. The Mothers' Club of the Y.W.C.A. held its weekly meeting on Tuesday. Mrs. Margaret Cooper, vice-president, presided. The afternoon was a social one. when the members bade farewell to Mrs. J. Gates, who is leaving for Australia. On behalf of the club Mrs. Cooper presented Mrs. Gates with a gift and a bouquet and Mrs. Symes, who is a visitor from Australia, was the recipient of a bouquet. Vocal solos were given by Mrs. B. Jackson, and elocutionary items bv Mrs. .T. Hinkley. The competitions were won by Mesdames N. Rogers and K. Manson. Afternoon tea was nerved by the hostesses, Mesdames Deerv, Reid and Slader.
