SOCIAL AND DANCE.
Another large number of happy dancers attended the second series of Saturday fortnightly social and dances in the band hall, Takapuna, on Saturday last. The function was under the auspices of the social committee of the Takapuna Citizens' Band. Perfect dance music was rendered by the band orchestra, with dance extras on the accordion by Band Chairman J. Henderson. The band secretary, Mr. L. J. Henderson, officiated as master of ceremonies. The Monte Carlo dance was won by Mr. Alex Roberto and partner. Several popular adult games were arranged in between the dances and everybody present entered into the spirit of the games. A dainty supper was dispensed by the ladies' social committee.
