To-day's Wedding.

STACEY—HANFLING. At St. Benedict's Church this afternoon the wedding took place of Miss Madeline Marguarite Hanfling and Mr. Trevor John Stacey. The bride is the second daughter of Mrs. L. and the late Mr. J. Hanfling, of North Street, Mount Eden, and the 'bridegroom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Stacey, of Valley Road, Northcote. The Rt. Rev. Monsignor Ormond officiated and during the ceremony Miss M. Murphy sang Gounod's "Ave Maria." The wedding march was played by Miss K. O'Leary.

The bride, who was given away by her cousin, Mr. J. Sehoullar, of Huntly, wore a charming gown of magnolia satin beaute fashioned on old world lines with shirred corsage. The sleeves were also shirred and the skirt fell gracefully to form a peacock train. Her beautiful misty veil was set in place by a halo of orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of cream chrysanthemums, rosebuds and barvadius.

The attending bridesmaids were Miss Nancy Hanfling, sister of the bride, who wore a frock of primrose moire taffeta with autumn-flowered Juliet cap. and Miss Lotus Stacey, sister of the bridegroom, who wore primrose taffeta. Dawn H&nfling, cousin of the bride, was flower girl and wore a picture frock of primrose taffeta with a Dolly Var•den bonnet. The bridesmaids carried autumn-toned zinnias and chrysanthemums. The bridegroom was supported by Mr. H. Brown as best man and Mr. Don Algie as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Parnell Kiosk where Mrs. Hanfling. mother of the bride, received the guests wearing a frock of black ripnlewave crepe romaine finished with a diamante clasp at the neck. Her bat was 'black to match and she carried red zinnias. Mrs. Stacey, mother of the bridegroom, was in a navy ensemble with a navy hat. and her bouquet was in autumn The ushers at the [church were Messrs. P. Hobsoa and P. ' Eyre.
